The Vicksburg Post news staff brought home 19 awards from the 142nd annual Mississippi Press Association convention in Biloxi Saturday, including six first-place nods for its 2007 work.

After the W950 (4 Gb internal memory) and the W960 (8Gb internal memory), Sony Ericsson is all set to launch a 16 Gb internal memory Walkman handset! We don't have any news on this as yet, but it'll surely be the Walkman flagship if its announced this year.

I found Vysr from FastCompay.TV's demo-cum-interview of Guda Venkatesh (Alumnus of IIT, Kanpur). Vysr is a new toolbar released in beta for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. It aims to enhance the browsing experience by giving easy access to popular services like Google News, Wikipedia, YouTube, MapQuest and others (called Apps) within the current view of the Webpage. Even better, it adds a context of the selected text to these apps. What this means is that you can select "abc" on a webp

There's an interesting report by Experian on how organizations are ignoring basis steps in taking care of their data. The report entitled, ‘Contact Data: Neglected asset seeks responsible owner’, surveyed 2,078 organisations worldwide, and revealed that the overall approach to data quality and integrity around the world is at best half-hearted and, at worst, cavalier.
