Idol Debut Expected Soon: American Idol champ David Cook's debut has been pencilled in for a Nov. 18 release date. The set is being produced by Rob Cavallo and will likely include co-writes with Collective Soul's Ed Roland, Our Lady Peace's Raine Maida and Kara DioGuardi, Idol 's newest judge.

Lance Armstrong announced today that he would ride in America's biggest cycling stage race, the Amgen Tour of California.Armstrong made the announcement at Interbike, a cycling convention in Las Vegas.The news came one day after Armstrong officially announced his return to professional cycling after a three-year break.

Heller Ehrman partners will vote to dissolve the firm on Friday. The news was announced by Chairman Matt Larrabee at a Thursday meeting, according to a Heller staffer. Larrabee told all attorneys and staff that dissolution is unavoidable and that the partnership will voluntarily dissolve. Cal Law will have more information as it becomes available.
